I just photographed Stephanie’s maternity session a few weeks ago and now baby Charlotte is here! I’m so glad we got to squeeze in her mini-session before she popped! Stephanie told me that she wanted to wait as long as she could for photos because she was barely showing the majority of her pregnancy and I’m glad we did because she definitely had a nice big baby bump. And in that baby bump… baby Charlie!
\-She was extra sleepy which is the absolute best situation for peaceful photos. Just look at this beautiful little family.
This is one of my favorite photos of the session if not my absolute favorite. I love the textures, Stephanie’s iconic beautiful hair, and little baby Charlotte’s cute sleepy face.
Here’s a close-up of the cute sleepy face I just mentioned.
This is an example of the different looks you can achieve. From a soft, neutral, unwrapped pose to a wrapped prop pose. The ideas for newborn photography are endless and I love getting to express my creativity through my work. I also love it when parents make it unique to their family and bring baby’s plushies or even sports teams they root for (they’re Bruins fans as you’ll see in a moment).
Although Charlotte is a girl the family wanted a mix of pink and more masculine features and colors. They’re also nicknaming her Charlie which I love. I’ve always said I wish I was nicknamed Eddie!
Thank you Stephanie and Michael for always trusting me with your invaluable memories. Charlie was such a pleasure to photograph and didn’t poop on me once which is super rare! I can’t wait to watch your family grow.
