This is a very special baby that’s close to my heart. I’m tearing up just writing this! Let me formally introduce you to Harper Lynn Eudave, my niece!!! I AM FINALLY AN AUNT! You guys have no idea how long it’s been since we’ve had a baby in the family, my daughter is the most recent baby and she’s 24 hahahah. I’ve been looking forward to a baby in the family for such a long time and I’ve been collecting baby books and toys for who knows how long. I’m just so happy and grateful to my brother Carl and the lovely Kaitlyn who I’m so happy to have in our family. I can’t wait to see her grow up I already know she’s magical.
Harper is the most beautiful sweetest little baby in the WHOLE WORLD. I was there when she was born waiting in the hospital just to get a chance to hold her. She means so much to me and now I have a new baby to spoil. When my brother told me Kaitlyn was pregnant I almost dropped down and had a heart attack right there and then. I yelled and sobbed and screamed with joy and excitement. I was one of the first people they told because they knew how much I’d been waiting for this day to come and it finally did!!!!
Kaitlynn and Carl are more into blacks, grays, and darker colors than I am so I of course catered to their wants and needs and brought out all the spooky colors I had. Their baby also came right in time for Christmas so of course we took some Christmas-themed photos for the family to have.
Can you believe I got so lucky to have a little baby girl enter my life? I mean a boy would’ve been just as amazing but I love getting to play dress-up with girls and I have a daughter of my own and she was so much fun.
I love love LOVE capturing newborns’ beautiful little details. I use a macro lens to get up close and personal and Harper was absolutely angelic.
The pose above is called froggy and is the most difficult position for newborn to get into and hold but if baby isn’t fussy I can usually manage to pull it off and, as you can see, Harper did a great job.
Harper was a perfect little model and her cousin, Maya, came to assist which made the day go by beautifully. We always make sure the babies are warm, comfortable, fed, and safe because that is the top priority so we have Maya keep an eye on the baby at all times, crank up the heating with central heaters near the baby, as well as heating pads, and mommy or bottle near at all times when baby gets a little fussy. We have shushers, vibrating mattress pads, and so much more to make sure babies can drift off into a comfortable sleep and be able to pose them without them even noticing!
