Hi guys and thank you so much for showing up to my first blog post.

My name is Edna and I have been photographing literally my entire life, okay not literally I mean it did take the little while maybe a few years to have the strength for my baby hands to pick up a camera. But, I have been holding a camera since I was about 5 years old. My father was a hobbyist photographer and we always had plenty of film and a camera loaded and ready to go.

I took tons of fun photos of my family and therefore unfortunately have a very few photographs of me… Since I was the one that was holding the camera quite often.

I have been photographing for all of my adult life professionally. I photographed my first wedding when I was 19 years old. I’ve had a full time photography business for over 15 years.

You may wonder why my site looks pretty new. This site that you are on right now is actually a sister site to my main photography website Square Eye photography. I started off mainly photographing weddings.

But as my clients became pregnant and wanted maternity photos I obliged. As they started having babies they would ask me to photograph their newborns. Well, maternity photography is very much like most portrait photography it wasn’t a large learning curve for me but newborn photography is a completely different genre of Photography that takes years upon years to master. So I finally threw myself deep into newborn photography about 6 years ago and have absolutely loved it.

I started getting client outside of my own loyal client asking me for newborn photography and so I decided to separate all of my portraiture from my wedding work so I have separate websites for maternity and newborn, headshots, family portraits, boudoir photography, high School grads and college grads and finally wedding photography

So welcome to my maternity and newborn website. After 30 years of photography I have mastered almost every style of photography. I have a deep passion for newborn photography and I threw myself head first into the newborn genre.
