My pastimes are listening to Mississippi Delta blues, collecting vintage metal robots and spending my free time painting, oil on canvas. Art is everything to me… It can transform, transport and enlighten. It can tell story. It can take a peak into our souls. You can create with it and it can create you!
I may not have it all together when it comes to certain things. Like… I’m not a great driver, well at least that’s what everyone else says. I think I drive fine! I may not always keep up with my blogging, so now I hired my daughter. But you know what I am AMAZING at… taking photographs. I take some really beautiful images. I love love love my profession. I ooze passion for it!!!! It is what I live for!

I will help you every step of the way with either helping you choose your wardrobe or you can always rent something I have. I quite a bit of wardrobe for you. You don’t have to worry about anything. I am not only a mentor to many photographers to teach them how to take their photography to the next level.. I mean I do have 28 plus years of photography experience but I am also a Photoshop guru, you can always check out my tutorials on Youtube. So you know you and your baby will look flawless!!!

Welcome to your Los Angles and Orange County maternity andNewborn Photographer
Everyone deserves to have photos of their greatest moments in life. The milestones in life that shape and change us. Your newborn is the start of your new life. The start of LIFE!!! You deserve beautiful photos that capture that. Going through morning sickness ( I went through 7 months of it I get it) through your body changing forever, through stretch marks, sleepless nights, not being able to breathe the last month and so much more…the least that you deserve is some beautiful photography of your and your beautiful new bundle. But don’t wait! I book quickly and babies need to be in ideally between 5-8 days. No later than 14 days. I sometimes make exceptions but those are the best times to bring in your newborn baby

Edna took our newborn photos and they came out so AMAZING!!! How much are maternity and newborn photos?

When should I schedule my maternity session?
I like bellies that are nice and round. I don’t want you to the point in your pregnancy that you are going to be uncomfortable but I would like your belly to be tight… so somewhere around 8 months.
When should I schedule my newborn session?
You should schedule your newborn session as soon as possible, in your third trimester. Newborn sessions are photographed mostly on weekdays so I have more flexibility if you do schedule later as my weekends are almost always booked months in advanced.
How old should my baby be for a newborn session?
The ideal time for a baby to be in for a session is between 5-8 days but can be as late as 12 days. If the baby was born late then you need to schedule your newborn session earlier. If the baby was born very early you can schedule the session a little later, just a little though.
I missed the 12 day newborn portrait session window are there any options for me ?
Yes there are! I offer a one hour mini session for older babies up to 1.5 months old. This session comes with just wrapped poses and is still super adorable.
